After a few years of freelance work I was invited to directly join the Autmow team. A central Ohio-based company dedicated to the sales, service, consultation, installation and repair of robotic mowing equipment.
Autmow expanded its footprint nationwide through its network of Certified Sales and Service Professionals reaching 50+ locations throughout the US. All supported with resources, training and materials through Central Ohio.
A crucial role played within Autmow was the management of resources for the internal team, our licensee locations and external partners was the management of digital assets. Brand resources for both Autmow and our manufacturing partners, print and digital materials for sales, education and other business related needs.
The Autmow website was managed internally and work including, but not limited to; page and content creation, e-commerce asset management, site UI & UX ownership, internal CRM system integrations and many other administrative task management.
I worked closely with our external content production partners to identify the appropriate products and video outlining approaches to create custom videos to not only promote Autmow and our manufacturing partner products, but to educate customers about the many intricacies of the industry. This pushed me to understand the products themselves to better speak from a position of genuine knowledge and not follow along on just a script.
Custom tradeshow display design and production for our HQ and more approchable tension fabric/pop-up displays and sets for the network were crucial in helping to establish Autmow's legitimacy at events. Alongside the environmental display needs, leave-behind resources, video loops and other materials were needed by all locations and it was my responsibility to create, share and customize for their use at various events.
While regular social post content production and management was undertaken by our external partners, it was necessary to oversee and provide feedback to ensure we aligned with the business objectives throughout the different seasons. This is also where product knowledge was crucial as it was important that we represented our manufacturing partners products accurately and in a good light.
